Terms of service
Last updated 9 August 2026. Using LensFloat means you agree to these terms.
Who we are
LensFloat is a teleprompter. You can reach a person at support@lensfloat.online.
What the service is
LensFloat displays your script while you speak and, if you want it to, records you reading it. Some of it runs on your device and some of it runs on servers we pay for. What each plan includes is published alongside it before you are asked to pay for anything.
Your account
You can use the prompter without an account. An account is needed only for a paid plan and for the features that run on our servers. Please keep your sign-in details to yourself, since anything done through your account counts as done by you. One account is meant for one person.
Fair use of your account
- A paid account is for one person. If a team needs it, that is what a team plan is for.
- Stay inside the limits of your plan, and use the service to read a script rather than to run up our costs.
- Do not use it for anything unlawful, or for material you do not have the right to produce.
- Do not take the software apart to rebuild it as a competing product.
Your scripts and your recordings stay yours
You own what you write and what you record. We claim no rights over it, we do not train anything on it, and we do not look at it. Where a feature has to send something off your device to work, the privacy policy names exactly which feature and exactly what it sends.
Plans and billing
- Paid plans renew on their own, monthly or annually, until you cancel.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Your local price and currency are applied at checkout, and you are charged in that currency.
- Payment is taken by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
- Taxes are added where the law requires them.
- A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for. It takes effect from a renewal, and where the law requires notice before that renewal, you get it.
Cancelling, and what happens to a period you have already paid for, is on the cancellation and refunds page.
What we can and cannot promise
The service is provided as it is. Voice recognition depends on your microphone, your room and your browser, so it is worth keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem.
Closing an account
You can stop using LensFloat whenever you like, and cancel from inside the app. If an account breaks these terms we may suspend or close it, and wherever the situation allows we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account without you having broken anything, we refund the unused part of what you paid.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, the change is dated here and the date at the top moves. Where the law requires us to tell you directly, we will. Continuing to use LensFloat after a change means you accept it.
